Lumbini is just 150m from sea level; it might be warmer than Kathmandu and Pokhara. It would be best if you were with T-Shorts…to walk around. Have breakfast, then take a Jeep/van drive from Pokhara to Lumbini. It is a 4-hour drive west of Pokhara (164 km). You will have lunch along the way, but Dinner will be at the Lumbini. You will be free upon arrival in Lumbini. We suggest you explore the birthplace of Lord Buddha with a local guide today. I hope your Hotel will be nearby. However, you will have an English-speaking local guide and a jeep to explore the Lumbini Temple and several different stupas. Many different countries have built many different stupas. Usually, it will take another 3 hours to look around. You will have an overnight stay at the Hotel in Lumbini.

A guide pick you up from Hotel. After Breakfast, you must start driving to Kapilbasthu / Tilaurakot, 35 km west of Lumbini. The place is the more historical place of enlightenment of Lord Buddha, including the Kakuchandra Buddha birthplace and the Kanamuni Buddha birthplace. You will have lunch at the Kapilbasthu and drive back to Hotel for dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

After breakfast, a car leaves Lumbini for Kathmandu. It is a 164 Km drive east from Lumbini to Kathmandu. Normally, it takes 7 hours to arrive in Kathmandu.
